September 19
Today Dalton was supposed to play golf at Dudarave Golf Course but there were wind gusts of 60-70 km. so we went to Green Gables and Avonlea. Having read the books and seen the TV series, we were both interested. However, we picked the wrong time of year to come to PEI. A lot of the things have already closed its doors, some portion of things are still open but it just isn't the same. We did enjoy it though. The weather was warm even if it was windy.

Dalton is right, I take a lousy picture, wanted to see the beautiful cane chair, missed the legs |

We had a really nice lunch at Stanley Bridge. It was an Oyster Bar, you could shuck your own if you wanted, we opted for the Clam Chowder ad Lobster Roll instead - both were excellent.
We continued on to a few seaside places, by now the rain that had been promised started so we took a couple of pictures and headed home.
